Hello everyone, Oct 20th for me and I'm excited, no longer scared!
I'm having mine in Puerto Vallarta with Dr. Joya as my insurance wouldn't pay. Day 10 on pre-op diet. I've lost 13.5 lbs so far on that. From 264 to 250.5, (can't wait to be on the side closer to 200 than 300 before I go in). I was nervous, very nervous, I'm going by myself as my daughter has school and my hb needs to work. Then on Friday night I got rear ended by a Ford Explorer hard, and for some reason, after walking away from that, I'm not scared anymore. It's like I looked fear in the face. LOL! I'm sore from the impact but grateful. I sort of decided it was a sign that I will be fine. Also, I could care less about being on the liquid diet. The first few days were tough though.
Thank you for this site, it has been so informative and helpful. I've been basically a lurker until now.
