BOB Band over Bypass experiences

Hi .. I am new to this site. I would like to find other BOB patients to support each other. I am scheduled for Oct 28th. 2014. I would like to hear from others who have had this surgery.

Lap Band on 04/23/06

It is not an uncommon procedure but there aren't many on here. Check out the profile of Heathercross. She has been very successful and will happily answer questions but asks that people check out the info in her profile first as many FAQs are answered there.

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

She gets do many people asking her she may not get back to you quickly. That is why she puts answers to most FAQs on her profike.

Sherry - I am 2 years out from my BOB. I consider mine a success. While my weightloss is not that high - 20lbs. I have not gained any weight and have maintained my current weight for the last year. From what my doctor tells me, the weight loss is slower for BOB.
