I hope this works out for you.  Have you met with a surgeon yet?  I see you're in SoCal like me, so just curious which program you're considering.  

I'm using the MemorialCare Center for obesity @ Orange Coast Memorial. I know which surgeon I want, just crossing fingers that I can get approved and get him. I have tried 3 times before, but never gotten this far. Hoping 4th time is the one😄This time however, I have diabetes as a co-morbidity, so in a weird way that actually may help my chances.

I had my VSG there, but my surgeon was Justin Braverman. I was in the ICU for the first night and had excellent care.  Good luck getting qualified 

Found out today I have been approved!😄They said I just have to do the cardiac exam before they can schedule me for the surgery. Woohoo! I can't believe it is finally happening!
