I'm going to go ahead and apologize on behalf of humanity for the snipey and rude comments above.  You come to a place like this looking for actual help and reassurance, not to be mocked.

That said, I think 42 lbs in 11 weeks is an amazing loss.  This journey comes with LOTS of bumps.  It sounds like you may be in the middle of a stall or a plateau, which is normal for weight loss with or without surgery.  My advice to you is to keep doing what you're doing.  Hit your nutritional goals (get enough protein and water, keep your carbs low, watch out for excess sodium), stay active and keep working out, and trust yourself.  I know it's scary when you feel like you're trying so hard and it isn't working, but I promise you the scale will get moving again if you stick to your plan.

I hope this helps.  I sincerely wish you all the best, and hope that this forum can be a safe space for you (and for all of us).  Support is KEY to success on this journey.

Realistic unexpectations are a HUGE issue for a lot of WLS folks; general hand-patting isn't "actual help."

Wow!  That is some sense of self importance you have there, linison - you know, the bit where YOU get to apologise for other peoples' opinions!

OP:  I guess you are a troll, but if not, spend some time educating yourself about the surgery you have just had, the journey on which you have embarked, and what your expectations should be ,,,

To tell the OP this sounds like a stall and not to worry is not helpful. She has lost an amazing amount of weight (as you do say) and should learn to develop realistic expectations. Again and again we see people on here who are ill-informed, expect too much, feel failures, give up! If this poster is genuine (and we often get people who are not!), she needs to understand how bodies work!

And I think it is possible to give this poster (whether they're genuine or not) respect and help them develop those realistic expectations without liberal application of sarcasm.

I did not and do not intend to dismiss other posters out of hand, but the snipey and rude comments that I see on some posts are completely unnecessary in my opinion.  I hesitate to post here on my own for that very reason.

Yes, OP, your expectations may be skewed and a reality check may be in order.  You may also have hit a stall.  Or both!  I haven't had my surgery yet, so I can't tell you what my experience has been post-op with rate of loss and plateaus, etc.  I hope that you find the help and support you need.

Why quote me? I didn't say anything at all to her!!!   Interesting to see you haven't had surgery yet,  though!

You are barking up the wrong tree. Kate is the least sarcastic person here.

Forum nannies are generally not welcomed. Telling people how and what to post is only going to end badly.

The OP is not complaining about a "stall" she is complaining that she is not losing fast enough.  42 pounds in 11 weeks does not indicate there has been a stall. If she in not a troll, she has VERY unrealistic goals for weight loss.  This smacks of being a troll because of when she joined OH and her posting history.  I have been on OH for years and, I assure you, there are LOTS of people out there who delight in stirring the pot.  Calling out unrealistic behavior is sometimes necessary.

Please don't apologize for me...I can handle that on my own.

may I ask why you think a non genuine poster, aka,a troll deserves respect here?
