I am almost 10 years out of surgery and my stomach hurts. If I eat or drink anything my stomach hurts so bad it takes my breath away. I spent the night in the hospital last weekend because I was so dehydrated from not eating or drinking anything and I lost 25 pounds in 11 days. If anyone has had the same symptoms please contact me

While you were in the hospital last weekend, did they look for the cause? Could be blockage, stricture, gallbladder etc.

No they just it. I'm actually still finishing up from having the endoscopy. They said it's an ulcer

I'm a little confused. If they told you it is an ulcer, what are you looking for from people here... just other people who have had ulcers?

Please keep us informed on what you learn. I will be 10 years out in December, and in the last few weeks I have been so nauseous. So dizzy. So fatigued. I've lost 16lbs. I feel awful and not able to get out of bed. When I first had surgery I had a stricture, but this is nothing like that. I am curious as to what you learn.
