In the early stages what can I expect?

I am just starting to look into the process and I found out what the requirements are from my insurance and scheduled myself for the 1st information session with a hospital.  I am wondering how often does the insurance company deny this surgery?  Even if you meet the criteria set up by them?

Hi

If you have not done so, post this on our Insurance, Cash Pay and Financing forum.  Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

If you have insurance coverage and you meet their requirements you will most likely be approved. That being said there are many hoops some companies make you jump through to figure out if it is medically necessary. Good Luck!

If you meet the criteria, and can document that, they CANNOT deny you. Period.  Just make sure that all the documentation gets submitted the first time around so you don't have to hassle with filing an appeal.
