Hungry!!!!!

4 weeks post op today. Gastic bypass. 47 lbs lost...I want to know if this is normal to feel hungry this early? I know it's not head hunger. I eat 3oz's of food per meal and 4 oz' sof protien shake for snack. I hope I am not the only one..I really wish I would of been one of those that would not feel hungry. I just had 2oz's salmon and 1oz spinach it took me 20 mins to eat and I can say I am still hungry...

Are you taking a PPI?  If not, stomach acid can mimic hunger pangs.

Are you drinking at least 64 ounces of fluid?

At four weeks post op, you're stomach is still in the healing stage from the nerves being severed.  It isn't a reliable source to determine satiety.

What PPI? Yes I am drinking my 64oz of water.

I had my sleeve done on 9/15 I'm still on liquids and I'm hungry all day every day I can't wait to do puréed foods mayb u won't be so hungry lol
