It is claiming to do things it just can't do, with a lot of meaningless doubletalk.

There is no magic food. There are a lot of very high quality and proven protein supplements out there. I would stick with one of those, and let someone else buy the snake oil.

Oh I wasn't looking at it like that. It was suggested to me as a protein that didn't have that nasty taste in it like GNC's unflavored protein does. Just wanting to find out the tastes...

I do use Genepro and it is my favorite unflavored protein powder. From how easily it dissolves to it truly not affecting the flavor of the things I mix it in. I showed it to my dietician to get her thoughts and she didn't express any reservations with it.

Thanks for your input! I tried about 1/3 of a little sample package (10 grams) in what little powerade I had left and it was like I put nothing in it! Great product and it did completely disolve!

Magic - pure magic...

if the serving is 15 gr.... and some of that is carbs, and fiber...

how in the real - physical (not imaginary world) can it contain 30 gr of proteins?

I have been using Genepro for over a year. My labs are perfect. This is the best stuff on the market hands down and I have tried a ton of them I had surgery 10/23/2013

I have been using it as well, and while it may just be plain old protein powder... what I like is 1TBSP = 30g. (most powders it is 1/4 c) That makes it so much easier t mix in things. Many times I just use a teaspoon (10g) to boost the protein on something else I a eating. I also like that it dissolves so easy, especially in hot things. You can dump it right in and stir. With the cold weather coming, I just cannot face a shake some days. I have stirred it into my tea, my coffee, my soup. It doesn't smell bad as many of them do and is fairly tasteless. I had also been using one  made by bulksupplements.com I really like that one too, but Genepro wins out because of the small quantity and the hot liquids advantage. I bought both of them on Amazon. Good Luck!

Glad I'm finding people who actually use it and like it! My doc also approved it so I guess I'll be ordering it today! Only way I know that I can eventually get away from protein shakes...

Thanks for your review!

You're putting a lot of faith in -- and putting you health on the line for -- something that has some VERY questionable science behind it.  They claim to be able to cut the size of the protein molecules in half by passing it through some "magic" gel that removes the hydrogen, etc. from it?!?  I have never heard of anything like that and, if it were possible, I would think it would have FAR better applications than a better protein powder.  I'm not a scientist, but have never heard of such a thing.

Even if you assume their claim of protein content is true (is the bag actually labeled with the standard nutritional information, BTW? early reports were that it was not) -- something I personally am not willing to do -- if their claims regarding superior absorption because it is absorbed in the upper intestine are true, it makes it largely useless for RNYers because that is the portion fo the intestine that is bypassed.
