It is an amazing thing!!  Keep working the plan, and your doubts will fade.  Keep reading posts here.  Most of us tried every diet we came across in the past, and failed.  Keep the faith!!

Thank you to everyone for your responses! I did take measurements and I'm going to back off the scale and not check my weight as much. I'm excited to have this tool to use and a new start to my life and health. I'm also very grateful to have found this site.

Congrats on your procedure and new beginning! I think everyone has anxieties throughout many stages before and after our procedures so don't feel alone at all ;) I am a little over 4 mo out from my sleeve and its great. Once you get used to your new eating habits and portions, your workout routine etc you will feel more confident in your long term success. I do atleast and I'm still figuring it all out lol goodluck!

Bansheefaerie, we got this we can and will do this! We may have a few stumbles along the way but that is life. We made it through approval process right? Then we made it through surgery right? Now the journey to a new life begins. We are going to stomp through these puddles we are crying and walk into healthier lives. You Got This.

I know what you mean. I feel that way too sometimes. I suspect it's post-traumatic stress syndrome  after repeated failures. Let's keep going though. One meal at a time. You can do it!
