Down 207lbs and a husband...what now?
my gastric bypass was January 9th 2010.I have lost two hundred and seven pounds to date, but what now?my ex was 17 years walked out 7 years and I still find myself sitting home alone. Obviously I was never in the "in" group or part of the popular crowd, I just don't have that mentality. It's really hard being me....
Awe. Now what? Be kind to yourself and live life to the fullest.. I am not part of the "in" crowd either, but it doesn't bother me. I know I am wonderful. It took me until my 40's to realize that. Volunteer or join a meet-up group in your area. Get out of the house!!

When I found myself single I joined meetup groups - the single scene is huge here in Denver and it's NOT to pick up dates - it's to have a social life that doesn't depend on having a partner! We would go to dinner, meet up for football watching, dancing, live music, theatre/comedy trips - all sorts of fun.
I was a single mum so had to confine my social life to every other weekend, but I honestly could have been out every night of the week!

SHALEE---Congrats on that fabulous weight loss! But..WLS, and that wt loss are only PART of WHO you are. What do you like to do? Cook? Sew? Read? Roller skate? Amusement parks? Scrapbooking? Church? Dancing? I guarantee you there are others in your town, with some of your same interests-and THEY are looking for YOU
