New to this and seeking advice.

I am in the current process of gaining medicare and am seeking to have the DS surgery. I just wondered if anyone who had previously had the surgery or is preparing to could shine some extra light for me?

You should cross post this on the DS board ....there is a drop-down at the top of the page where you can select a surgery type.

You'll find a good family of us over on the DS board.  There is another link that will give you some good information about it in general, as well.  We are learning our long-term needs faster than the medical professionals can gather together, so we share a lot.
