Wherever you read that was a fasntasy site.  Sorry not true.  Taking lots of Biotin will help it grow, if you are looking for more.

Oh shoot!!! I was hoping the "facial hair" would fall out.  It's beyond embarrassing!

Well, you look pretty young.

If the facial hair is due to PCOS, iris likely that significant weight loss will alleviate your PCOS .... And therefore reduce the facial hair.

If the facial hair is due to menopause, I think you are out of luck.

Didn't for me! Not that it was a major problem anyway. And I didn't lose any head hair either.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Unfortunately it does not go away,  even at 4 years post op. So embarrassing.  Mine was from pcos.

Those suffereing from facial hair due to PCOS: My doctor told me that new facial hair follicles will not develop after the disappearance of PCOS however the existing ones will still continue to grow, unless they are killed or zapped, as in the process of laser hair removal.

I'm pre-op with PCOS but now I don't have even half as much as I used to on my face. I guess all the years of hair removal treatments weakened my follicles (thank God), but I do still have enough that I can see. I'm more concerned with the hair loss on my scalp

Uh, no.  In fact, I have more peach fuzz these days.  Then again, I am perimenopausal........

As we age and get past menopause it gets worse, not better. Think of all those little old ladies who have facial hair.

Mine now is more gray than brown which is helpful. :)
