Beginning the journey

So here I sit, married with two kids, almost 40, 330 lbs, BMI is 40.4. A1c is 10.3 full blown type 2, and controlled blood pressure. I also have anxiety disorder. I'm looking at the Gastric Sleeve...but more importantly never having been in the hospital, am freaking out about the intubation and the catherezation. I have my first meeting in about two weeks to get my options from the local hospital group, and everything i've heard so far is assuming I pass the psych etc I'll be good go go after the new year. 

So I am freaking out already about this...not good right?

It is scarey but read, read, read.  It will mean changing your life forever but you recognize the reasons why and the Drs are good and you will be so happy to be at a normal weight and ready to rejoin life at its fullest.
