Can't seem to lose anymore weight
440 pounds? I always envied you little fellers. I topped out at 475.
The best thing I ever did was start tracking what I was eating. Tracking really closely, and honestly. I use MyFitnessPal to keep track. I weigh everything I eat exactly. For instance, I had a ham sandwich a while ago. The bread weighed 1.60 ounces, the cheese weighed 1.45 ounces, and the ham weighed 6.05 ounces. All of that goes into MFP. If I didn't weigh everything, I would likely be taking in twice as many calories as I am.
I have tracked every bite for the last 749 days since surgery. It has helped me get from 475 pounds to 185, and a BMI of 59.4 to 23.1. At 9 days you are just getting started. I won't lie, it's not easy at first. But after a while, it gets easier, and becomes second nature.
There are other ways to be successful, but this is what has worked for me. I spent a lot of time learning about nutrition, exercise, vitamins, and paying attention to what the really long term success stories here have done.
I hope you get over this bump in the road and see how to make this work for you.
