DID I CHEAT?
on my Ticker thingy, I dont know if i might have cheated on my weight loss amount, because I COUNTED what i lost during the preOp diet phase BEFORE surgery. I figure weight loss is weight loss....do i need to go back in and change it since some of that loss has not been AFTER my surgery? OH the GUILT...lol
I count everything.

It counts. I used to have my ticker set at the weight I was before I started my preop diet. I recently changed it to reflect my high weight. I had lost weight during the six months that my insurance required prior to surgery so I figure all pounds matter.
When people would asked me how much I've lost, I used to have three numbers in my head - high weight, preop diet weight and surgery day weight. It's just easier calculating my weight loss based on one number.

A lot of us do what geek did -- loss since high weight, consult weight, surgery weight. After a while, we tend to only remember loss since high weight.
