Your go to protein?
1 scoop unflavored whey isolate with crystal light and water (26 grams). Drink and done. For dense protein I eat chicken thighs, beef jerky, and light cheese sticks. I love nonfat Greek yogurt mixed with frozen raspberries for breakfast (1/2 cup = 12 grams).
A few of my favorite protein sources: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2011/01/10-fa vorite-protein-sources.html
In shakes right now I am loving Chike High Protein Iced Coffee (it's been triple digits in my neck of the woods and it has saved me, ice, milk, blended up like a frap)
RTD Premier Protein in chocolate from Costco. 30 grams of protein for breakfast every day.
Dannon Light and Fit Greek yogurt. During the early post op stages, I would add a half of scoop of Isopure Zero Carb protein powder to the yogurt to bump up the protein.
For dense protein, I eat rotisserie chicken, pork chili verde, crockpot pot roast, deli roast beef, low fat colby jack cheese sticks and beef jerky. This summer I've been eating a lot of seared ahi with sesame seeds and yellowtail ceviche. My husband caught several while on a fishing trip to Mexico and it's my favorite thing to eat. I'll be hating life when the freezer runs bare.
