MODERATE OSTEOARTHRITIS at 57 SURGERY HELP ME?

I think it is really sad that no one warned you ahead of time that surgery would not help the OA pain.  Going into a surgery like WLS, we need to know as much as possible about how to manage our expectations. 

I know vicodin didn't even begin to touch my pain, that's how I ended up on Percocet.  My situation is similar to the OP of this post in that I am now 5'3" where I used to be 5' 6 1/2" before the discs started going.
