Introduction and a NSV

I am pretty new here. I have "lurked" about and read a lot of posts and gained useful information and tips along the way. I had my revision from lap band to RNY on July 22, 2014 and have went from 260 to 229 in 7 weeks. I had a three week plateau that I just broke out of over the weekend. I kept thinking "what am I doing wrong". Nothing. I have learned the very valuable lesson from this support group that I am doing what I am supposed to do and the weight will continue to come off. I won't deny that I would love to see onederland by Christmas so I am stepping up in the exercise department to help me along. Now for those NSVs. This weekend I was able to easily get in and out of go-carts with my daughters (they are 23 and 17). It was such fun. I was also able to ride some rides at an amusement park without the fear of the "walk of shame" if I couldn't fit. My whole reason for this surgery was to be able to have fun with my kids and grandkids and I am now able to do so. I am excited for bigger changes and for bigger adventures. Next up....kayaking and zip lining.

Congrat's

That is why I am having the surgery, I have sat in Baby's corner for way to long... I can't wait to have fun like you are.  Biking, swimming, go carts, amusement parks, just playing :)

Best of luck to you
