There's no infromation on your profile to get additional informtion to help you such as surgery date, surgery type, etc., so I'll throw out some possibiities. Laxatives and stool softeners should yield an effect overnight.

You might want to consider a C-section.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
I'm 5 weeks post VSG. My system has always been slow and more so after major body changes...pregnancy, surgery. So I'm not surprised that this happened. I'm getting in my water (60-64 oz). I still can't eat a lot so I'm getting the protein in, but not a lot of roughage. I have NO clue how much fat I'm socking away.
I was hoping the miralax I drank last night would have produced something this morning, but alas, no. I took another dose this afternoon. Just trying to determine how much longer because a c-section is looking good right now!
it was definitely not my first choice but it sure did the trick! at the time i had been dealing with a surgical complication (a bleeding ulcer at the anastamosis) so i could not really ingest very much of anything. its not very palatable, but it works and is a good alternative to powders and drinks and pills when one is occasionally needing some poop relief.
