How long before Using a Girdle or Shaper?

I was just wondering how long after Surgery before I use it? I Feel naked without it!

That is really a question for your surgeon.

I had a wound check appointment 1 week after surgery ... And would have asked then, if it was important to me.

I have ever been a girdle or shape wear person .... Too claustrophobic for me, personally.

Based on how your healing goes, I am sure your doctor will want to guide your answer.

I used a moderate control  one about 2-3 weeks out...not for control but it made my incisions  feel better....but nothing too tight.

But I would ask your surgeon.

I wouldn't use one, it constricts your internal organs too much, causing damage to them..

I would say its okay if you feel comfortable in it, but dont' wear anything too tight.  Make it a goal to smooth things out instead of stuffing a sausage, so to speak.
