Random: Do you make your protein shakes with milk or water?

Ice cold water (I don't handle milk too well these days), plus ice -- seems to taste better really cold. I also add just a pinch of powdered peanut butter - doesn't really add any carbs but it does seem to negate the 'protein' overtones. I usually use Chike vanilla and add some SF Torini flavorings, but have some Syntrex on order to try.
Milk (soy cause my gut likes it best**** or yogurt cubes like this: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2014/03/post- weight-loss-surgery-menus-day-in.html, SF flavoring to change it up usually but when traveling usually jus****er in a shaker.
