I had Gastric bypass 8 days ago ,I lifted my dog who is 40 pounds .Now my stomach is killing off and on should I worry

If the pain is severe, I would call your surgeon or go to the ER now.

most ppl are instructed not to lift more than 10# post op. I would call the surgeon and get his advice.

I agree. The dog is significantly over the weight limit they normally give for lifting post-op, so I would call the surgeon's office in the morning.  If the pain is severe, go to the ER tonight.
