I have always been anemic, but the tests also show an elevated white blood cell count (about 5% high. ) I haven't heard from my PCP or Surgeon, and surgery is scheduled for Monday.
Would they postpone or cancel it for that?
I doubt it - it just means you have or have been fighting off something recently ... Shows your body works well!
