Flying, Fat Me, Serving Tray, Reclined Seat. OH HELL NO!
I have been reading all the reports about people being thrown off planes after people recline their seat into their space. Oh baby, oh baby, did that bring back memories, horrible memories. I didn't fly much because I was so embarrassed with my fat hanging over into others space. But when I did, the one thing that send me over the edge was when someone put their seat back. I had my tray down and when they did, it cut right into my gut. I asked over and over again for them to please sit up so I could get it out of my stomach and they totally ignored me. I finally had to get the fight attendant to have the person to put their seat up and no sooner had I put my tray up they laid right back down into my lap.
I was so pissed I kicked the chair for the rest of the flight. From that point on I never put my tray down and again being so big it was like having a seat in my face/lap. It's bad enough for a fat person to fly but this is just over the top. I love those things they have to prevent a seat from going back. LOL
Has this ever happen to you?

That never happened to me since, at my largest, I wasn't able to use the tray at all anyway.
Sadly reclined seats are a fact of flying. I wish airlines would do away with that "feature" all together. But until they do, people certainly have the right to recline, even if it inconveniences me.

Nope! The only time I have complained is when someone has tried to NOT let me recline my seat. I paid for my seat, and if it reclines I have every right to do so ...
You and I would have had a real problem if you continually kicked my seat - I don't remember the pilot ever inviting anyone to do that, but if you travel on any international flight, they invite you to recline! I am polite and always wait for someone to finish their meal etc, but reclining is a domino effect and if the person in front of me reclines, then so should I be able to.

The blame lies with the airline, not each other! They are the ones who design the plane to fit as many people as possible onto them, comfort be damned!

It makes ya wonder why that stupid feature is even allowed on the planes. Why should one passenger be so comfortable at the expense of the passenger behind them? Just have fewer seats and give everyone more room. LOL...I just put that icon there cuz I hadn't seen it before and I wanted to use it. ;0
