Recommend your favorite unflavored protein powder, please?
Hi!
I am just under two weeks post-op, and I am struggling with my protein. I can start purees tomorrow, which will help, but I just cannot stomach anything very sweet, including the shakes/powders I used during the pre-op diet. Could you recommend a good unflavored protein powder that I could maybe mix into soups, plain Greek yogurt, or other purees?
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! You can't beat that price, can you? I will definitely look for this. :)
Isopure Zero Carb Unflavored Protein. In my early stages after surgery, I added it to greek yogurt to up the protein. It doesn't have any flavor and isn't gritty.

Great! I just ordered a sample of this from Vitalady. I really appreciate the information. Thank you so much! :)
I have not tried this one yet, but I definitely will. Hey, good luck with your surgery!!!
Genepro http://www.musclegen.net/ .... this is oderless and tasteless and does not clump. You can add it to hot or cold....or just sprinkle over your food. This stuff is great. One tablespoon equals a scoop of Whey and has 30 grams of protein. It is approved by John Hopkins and has 96% absorbtion. You can also order it from Amazon. I go by every morning to a shake shop....get a Chunky Monkey (35 grams of protein).....add a scoop of Genepro (30 grams of protein)....mid morning I fix a Crystal Light and add another scoop.....I already have 95 grams for the day!!! You can contact their website and they will send you a sample.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for recommending the Musclegen! I bought some from Amazon and have been using it for the past couple of days. It is amazing. I started out putting it in Greek yogurt, which was great, and I can even put it in tea or Crystal Light without it changing the taste or texture. It's totally worth the cost, especially because the serving size is so much smaller. Thanks again!
