It really helps if you tell us which surgery.

I was cleared to go home about six hours after band surgery. As my job was physically active, I took a full week off work.

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

I was off 2 weeks and only stayed over night in the hospital

VSG on 12/19/13

Two nights in the hospital, and I took four weeks off from work. I could have returned sooner, but wanted to let my body heal and rest for as long as possible. Plus it's not such a bad thing being off work for four weeks

DS on 10/31/05

I was 4 days in the hospital after my open DS, 8 weeks off of work. I have a very active job (not strenuous, but a lot of time on my feet)
