How much water do you drink in a day?

What was your starting weight and how much have you lost, how long? And how much water do you drink in a day? Do you exercise?

I drink almost NO plain water---but I go through a gallon of iced tea a day. I lost 170 pounds in roughly 18 months, and have maintained that loss for over ten years. All my exercise comes in the form of gardening, housework, etc.

My starting weight was 344 pounds.  I have lost 135 pounds in 7 months.  I am not at goal.  I would like to lose 60 more pounds.  I drink at least 60-90 oz of fluid every day (that includes any non-caloric beverage).  I walk at least 5 miles every day, but I didn't start that until I had lost some weight.  I actually work several days a week while walking at my treadmill desk.  The other day I actually logged 17 mlles!!  I never could have imagined I would be able to do that seven months ago.

My starting weight was 270 and I lost about 150 pounds.  I drink about a gallon of liquid a day, although not much of that is plain water.  Most is decaf iced tea, decaf iced coffee, herbal tea and a protein shake or two.  The only exercise I do is walking my dog.

My starting weight was 330 I am now 175 and been 175 since my surgery in 2005. I never drank enough water. Every time I had a check up they always told me I was dehydrated and ended up giving IV fluids right then and there to rehydrate me. I have downloaded an app on my phone that helps me keep track of the water I drink daily and also it encourages me by drinking more so that app has helped me allot. I can feel the difference in my body when I do drink enough compared to when I dont.

My starting weight was 232.  I have lost 71lbs in 6 months.  I drink at least 72oz of water a day(Crystal Light, decaf herbal tea). and I weight train twice a week and do cardio 3 times per week.

  • i walk on average 4-5 miles a day and have been doing some yoga two times a week

You can see my weight stats in my signature line.   I've been maintaining at goal for the last 8 months.  I drink 100 oz. of water a day and I currently exercise 5-6 times per week.  However, that's only been the last 4 months.  Before that I was probably doing 3-4 days per week of much milder exercise.

My starting weight was 262 and I now weigh 121. I lost my weight in 9 months. I drink about 100 ounces of water most days. I walk 4 miles everyday and also do 20 minutes of some other type of exercise: usually either a strength training video or my stationary bike.

I drink between 64 and 96 ounces of liquids in a day.  I started changing my life in January, had surgery in March, and I've lost 90 pounds so far.  

Here's my exercise schedule:

M: yoga class, (voice lesson)
Tu: running inside, yoga class
W: zumba class, yoga at home
Th: running inside, yoga at home, bhangra dance class
F: tai chi class, pilates class
Sa: rest
Su: running outside, yoga at home
