Latent TB and sleeve gastrectomy

I have an appointment with a bariatric surgeon in a few weeks. I was curious if anyone knows about latent TB. I was diagnosed and already treated for latent TB this year and I was wondering if I'd still be a candidate for weight loss surgery. Does anyone know the answer to this? When I went to a weight loss seminar I was told by the doctor that everyone has to be cleared by a pulmonologist before surgery but I didn't even think about asking about Latent TB since I was already treated and told that I didn't have active TB. I may just be jumping the gun and being a bit paranoid here. Anyone know?
