Surgery date!

Got my surgery date, September 23rd so about 5 weeks to go! I'm nervous and excited! I feel like these next 5 weeks are going to take forever. And I'm suppose to start the slim fast diet from now until surgery, anyone else follow the slim fast diet before surgery?

Congratulations! I just got approved today for my upcoming surgery in September as well! I am starting on the pre-op diet on August 20, but it is not the Slim Fast diet. I will be living mostly on my protein shakes, though. Best to you.

Congrats! I know exactly how you feel! I just set a date as well for the 3rd of September. I'll be doing protein shakes for 2 weeks prior to surgery. Congrats again!

Congrats I just got my date Aug 29th/. talk about it sneaking up on me.. Yikes!!.... I started the 2 weeks pre-op of protein shakes today!! .... I never heard of Slimfast used as "pre-op". I would check with your surgeons office. 

Even if you are 5 weeks out, ANY healthy eating habits you can make now are only going to benefit you come post op!

My surgeon is the one who told me to start the slim fast diet, just haven't seen anyone on here who did the same. Oh wow your date is just around the corner!! Congrats!
