Need some helpful hints please.
I just had surgery Aug 4. Surgery weight was 242. Had my one week follow up and was down 8 pounds. I am soooo NOT regretting this. I have no cravings. As a matter of fact EVERYTHING smells like fried crap. The fact that all food smells bad definitely helps me not to want anything... not even french fries. And a sister LOVED a fry.
It took sheer will power to swallow the water and protein needed but I pushed through. There were days that I had to walk and sip at the same time because the gas was a witch. But thank you God, I made it.
I left the hospital OFF of my Metformin. They tested my blood sugar levels several times a day and it was good from the beginning! That was my first NSV. I can't wait to celebrate more.
