I'm a vegetarian, lacto/ovo version.
Finding protein when I had my surgery was a nightmare!
Tofu became my best friend.
I learned to make it taste better and how to add a bit of fruit with it blended was ok.
I still run into problems and I am 13 yrs out this past May.
Just remember protein, low sugar and tons of water.
Pasta will feel like a rock and everything you liked before you will find that you may not like it now.
Not too many vegan/vegetarians on here.

I havent really been a big meat eater since my surgery in 2005. I could do like deli slices and ground meat but now I would like to just not have any at all. Been vegetarian for a month now and love it. The feeling alone makes me never want to eat meat again. lol I have raw protein powder which is vegan. Thanks for the support I will definitely keep you and your email address in mind when I want to talk veggie lol

There isn't a vegetarian forum, no.
I'm a vegetarian, have been since long before surgery.

You probably have to reach out to oh member services since they run the site. There are so many other forums & some are kinda dead, they might not have a problem setting up another forum if there's enough interest in it. I'm not a vegetarian, still like meat, but am open to some aspects of the vegetarian lifestyle.
No one surgery is better than the other, what works for one may not work for another.

Yes absolutely! You can start your own group on OH - I started a recipe forum for the members of my home board in Ontario Canada a few years ago. Go to MY OH at the top, click on GROUPS and you will see an option to start your own. Good luck! :)
