I agree. I HAVE seen her reply to other posts... Just not nearly as frequently as she posts her own (too Pollyanna-ish for me) encouragement and positivity posts. I know that there are some people, though, who like to read them (just not me).
No matter what the cir****tances, however, I hate to see someone quit ANYTHING rather than just educating themselves. Education is power.
As a licensed Counselor and Psych PhD, I also hate it when people trust "coaches" -- who have no (or very little) special education or training and often do what is legally restricted (in most states) to those with mental health training and licenses -- and end up worse than they were before.
Anyone who advertises themselves as a certified anything needs to have both passion (often sorely lacking in many in-person WLS support group leaders who are paid by the bariatric hospitals and/or surgeons groups) AND education, because people naturally assume that they have both.

He was a little older than me, so hecwas born 1956 or so. About college age during Watergate and the resignation. And a history teacher. Teaching the sixties.
