I disagree that your 'only' fix is an RNY/gastric bypass. Depending on how much weight you need/want to lose, a Duodenal Switch might be a better option. Dr. Boyce in Knoxville does the DS, and does revision surgery, too. I'd at least consult with a surgeon who offers the DS before I made my final decision.

The only fix IS the RNY with a failed Vertical Banded Gastroplasty. They used to punch a hole through the stomach to place the ring. The scar tissue from the hole and the ring are in such a place that the only option is to create an RNY pouch. A sleeve will not work.
