CLOMID ANYONE??

Have any of my fellow RNYers used Clomid AFTER WLS?  What was your dosage and how many cycles did it take you to get pregnant?  My biggest concern is the malabsorption and whether or not the 50 mg start dosage is worth it.

I recently finished labs and it's been determined that I still do NOT ovulate on my own so my GYN is willing to allow me to try CLOMID but only for 3 cycles... after that she wants me to visit a reproductive specialist but I live in PA and our insurance won't cover any of that stuff :(

I think we may have some pharmacists on here, but if not, then go visit one locally and ask them the question.   They will be able to tell you where different drugs are absorbed and whether your RNY will interfere or not!!!

I'm all for science and using specialists in their fields 

I am trying to remember back 15 years .... But pretty sure when I did Clomid, I had mid cycle vaginal ultrasounds to check my follicle production.

I would ask about that, because they might be willing to adjust your dosage mid cycle to boost production, if needed.

You would hate to lose a cycle if you don't have to.
