Back pain 4 days post op

VSG on 08/04/14

My back is hurting me more than any other place on my body. I'm four days post op from VSG. Would this back pain be a problem?

It could be from positioning during surgery. I hope you feel better.

I pulled a muscle in my back after my rny, it hurt worse then anything that they did to me surgically. It spasmed and made me feel miserable for quite a while until it finally healed. I think it happened from trying to pull myself up after my open rny.

VSG on 03/13/14

I had a lot if back pain post-op since I couldn't sleep normally due to incision discomfort. It got better!

VSG with Dr. Salameh - 3/13/2014

I had back pain right after I had RNY surgery. Whether it is positioning or moving around afterwards, it is common. It should get better in a few days. If it doesn't, call your surgeon.

Thanks for the replies. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't indicative of a bigger issue. This is all so new and honestly everything is freaking us out, lol. We're keeping our eye on it.
