Wait time for surgery

I have to wait 3 years to get surgery according to my insurance! Is there a way around that?! Please help. I had a goal to do this before I turned 30. I'm heartbroken!

My insurance is smart choice which is through Medicaid.

That is the longest waiting list I've seen in the US.  That sounds more like Canada.

It's ridiculous! I am still looking for a way around this bs!

If it's the doc, there are other docs and if you have to travel some...so be it.

I've not heard of any Medicaid program being that slow for getting people for surgery.

That seems insanely slow.  May I ask where you got this information?  Was it through your provider or the actual insurance company?  I'd definitely question it.
