Is it normal to not have the typical stalls everyone talks about or is it something tht very one has?

I'm 4.5 months out and I have yet to have something I'd qualify as a real stall.  My weight fluctuates daily, and I gained a few pounds after getting IV fluids in the ER for a kidney stone, but there has yet to be any period of time where my weight truly hasn't changed for more than a week.

Ok Thank You! I only had between my 5th and 6th weeks where I stayed the same but I also was having issues and couldn't meet protein but I have noticed since then I am losing about 2 oz or .2 lbs each day and haven't really had an episode like that since. Just wanted to make sure this was normal. :)

I lost pretty steadily for 18 mo ths.

In that time, if I look over my WW booklet (I re-joined 4 weeks post op), I had 2 weeks of 'maintains' ...... Otherwise, I had some amount of WEightloss every week.

Sometimes it was only 1/4 pound per week, but it was always steadily downward.

I also lost 18 pounds in the6 weeks pre-op.

I never experienced a stall---because I didn't own a scale. (*grin*) I weighed ONLY at the doctor's office.
