RYN Revision - Will this effect my ability to have children later on?

Hell all,

I am considering a revision on my RYN (dec 09). You know, I never lost all of my weight, I never reached a healthy BMI. Within the last few years, I have started to gain the weight back. I am eligible for a revision, and I need to reduce my BMI for health. However, I do plan to have childern someday. My concern is that a second revision will effect my ability to carry healthy babies someday. I know that with the bypass surgeries changes your absorption. Have any of you had a second revision and healthy babies afterwards? Please feel free to share your invaluable opinions.  Please advise. thank you so much!

It will have no effect on your ability to have children.   You should give yourself at least a year before planning to get pregnant so you get the maximum opportunity to lose your excess weight.  Ensure you take all the required vitamins, exercise for health etc and you should be absolutely fine!
