I hope your right. I go to my primary care physician tomorrow and hope that I can get something from her stating that this is whats going on and can get dhr and my family to believe me so I can get my son back. This is ruining my life. I miss my kids so bad and that no one believes me when im telling the absolute truth is hurting really bad.  How did you figure out that was what was going on with your tests? How long did it take for you to finally pass them>  Is there any test they can do that would show that Im being honest on being early may when I last smoked?

It can take up to three months for your urine to come back negative with chronic heavy use. If they need to see proof that you are not actively using, you should look into getting a blood test. That will show them whether you have used in the last 24-72 hours. If they need to see the long-term picture, I guess you need to just wait it out. It has to leave your system eventually. Maybe they would be willing to let you do blood tests once or twice a week temporarily until your urine comes back negative.

I am in no way trying to state this from a medical perspective, but... yesterday someone mentioned that they used to smoke cigarettes and have stopped but they can smell the cigarette smell coming from their pores.  During weight loss, hormones are released in the body that were stored in fat cells.  A possibility may be that your body is ridding itself of the toxins and whatnot that were stored in fat cells.  Again, I'm not stating that this is true but you can certainly ask your doctor if it's a possibility due to weight loss.
