The one thing that blows my mind "still about losing weight...
Many things are light bulb moments throughout our journey for losing weight. But I have to confess the one that blows my mind is how much "younger" we all look. I am watching Extreme Weight Loss and she looks at least 10 years younger with 100 pounds gone. To this day everyone thinks I am my husband's daughter, giggle. He hates it but I love it!

My husband is ten years younger than me. I hope it isn't the first thing people notice about us. He's also slim and fit. I used to imagine that people saw us and thought, "why is that hot young guy with that old fat woman." I don't know why we let mean thoughts about ourselves into our lives. One advantage of losing weight is that I can work harder to be kinder to myself.

I think I look older. I've got wrinkles now...and I never did before. I look okay from far away, but up close... Noooooo.
I'm a Monet!!
I will take the wrinkles any day over being M.O. though.

I have noticed people have said that to me over and over.... I look so young. A college guy almost hit on me thinking I was my daughters friend, I'm 43 this Aug.. Someone said you look 19 or I can tell who is older me or my daughter... Now I don't believe the sweet hearts, but heck, I'll take it. :). I try hard not to beat myself up any more. Stopped that before I lost the weight. It's important for us to fall in love with who we are and then fix the issues. I love me, heavy or thin. :)
