Hips KILLING me after stress test
I had my stress test Tuesday and my hips are still killing me. The entire test was maybe 5 minutes on the treadmill with an incline. My legs started hurting during the test which is why the test ended as soon as I got to the required level. My outer hips have been killing me ever since. I can't stand up more than a few minutes (5 maybe) before I'm practically crying. Anybody have experience with this? Any suggestions other than pain meds and rest? Thanks.
I highly recommend stretching. You can google up specific hip stretches, one of my personal favorites is yoga's pigeon -- https://www.theragear.com/exercise/yoga_pigeon.php -- but there are tons of other great hip stretches out there.

Definitely google for hip stretches - there are tons of options aside from pigeon.

Alice, you don't say how old you are or how heavy. The stretching is a great suggestion but you may be coming up to time to think of hip replacement in your future. Do you have osteo arthritis? I am not trying to make you reveal anything you don't want to so feel free to message me if you like.
for now, until your hips love you again, be very nice to them! Use heating pad or ice packs, whichever feels better. Maybe take some Motrin? I am careful not to try to sound like a doctor, which I am not but if your body is not accustomed to walking like that, they need some TLC.
