Post Sleeve Fluid Intake

I am now 3 days post-op for a gastric sleeve and am wondering if I may be being to cautious when drinking fluids. I started taking one sip every nine minutes (hitting snooze on my phone) then increased to taking two sips on my second day. I watched someone's uTube video and he stated that it took him 20 minutes to drink one 20oz. bottle of Isopure. How long should it take me to drink this amount?

Everyone is different.  If drinking that amount is comfortable for you then you don't have to worry about it.  If you drink too fast your body will let you know.  It hurts!

Yeah I was able to drink almost as fast as I could presurgery rather quickly where I have seen other people have to drink slow or it hurts.

There's no way I could have done 20 oz. of anything within 20 minutes at 3 days post-op - wow!  Everyone is different though.  The more you can sip the better.  If it's not causing you pain or any problems then go for it! 

I could drink 20 oz in 20 min very soon after surgery,probably before three days out. I listened tomy body and proceeded accordingly.n

liquids run straight thru our sleeves almost as soon as we swallow and they get I the sleeve they are passing on out the pyloric valve,that opens when liquid**** the sleeve.
