Anyone had a revision from RNY to DS? IF so, what was the reason for it.Did the healthcare cover it?

I didn't, but many have, and yes and no as to whether or not health insurance covered it.  Some policies cover it with no problem, while others have a "one wls per lifetime" policy, so to be sure, call your insurance company yourself and ask if it's covered.

Also, check the DS and Revisions board to get more responses.

Be careful who you go to. There are only a few surgeons in the country qualified to do that revision. You do not want someone to cause permanent damage.

As Laura said, there are very, very few qualified to do it. There are many more who say they can, and end up giving you a distal RNY instead of a DS. Ask on the revision and DS boards, and you'll get some good help.
