Denied...what can I do?

I found out from my insurance, not the surgical center, that I had been denied for surgery 2 weeks ago.  I called the surgical center about the missing paperwork and I can't get anyone to call me back.  I know people have done appeals or letters.  What should I do?  Or I guess the better question being, what can I do?

If you were denied due to missing paperwork, find out from your insurance company exactly what was missing and how to submit it.

I just found out that bariatric surgery is an "exclusion" on my premium insurance plan... I have made a few calls but am praying hard this means I'm all done and will never proceed. 

Good advice here, be sure and post this on the Insurance, Cash Pay and Financing forum also. Their are members there that know how to fight when you have been denied.
