Information please people!
I sure wish someone would invent a font that says "SNARK" or maybe "RUEFULLY" or how about "HAVING A BAD DAY AND TAKING IT OUT ON EVERYONE ELSE" so we don't have to try to decipher how to take a post.
I've been asking for a sarcasm font for years now. (*grin*)
Thank you ladies I wish I had read something like this when I first joined and as I was not aware of it for a bit either to newbies there is a search feature we can look and see what has already been answered on our question and see if the previous stuff answers our question and if we really need t post it again

Jinx, we "old timers" do want to help! Here's another helpful tip!
Go My OH (top right), then to a medical History. Enter your surgery type and date and it will be shown on your posts!
Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

The vets really do help. I may not always wanted to hear somethings. But I know I can come onto this board and find answers that my doctor is too busy to answer. Or he just doesn't know.
I don't mind being called a newbie. I am glad for the help. Support groups I have found to be not informative. I always feel like I am being rushed. I am 8 months out and I still have questions.
All points above valid and taken , but as a 'Newbie ' , just simply pointing out how I felt when reading the first post , and feeling even more so now !!! My God , you guys dont have to respond or spend hours and hours helping people ! Its not a job or something that is mandatory for you to spend your time on . Why complain about how it irks you so much when people dont post right ? Yes its a suggestion a good suggestion , but everyone has the right to post here in whatever way they choose to , some people are not computer savvy and some people , dont have much common sense ! But they should be allowed to navigate this forum and learn how to use it without feeling like they've pissed everyone off !!! I appreciate the help I have recieved on here greatly , but I appreciate even more , the people who have answered my questions ( that they must have answered a million times ) with patience and bit of respect that im new to this and they were all there once themselves. Not seeing much of that here ,just more combative talk .

The vets want us to do well and lose the weight and keep it off. They don't want us to be in percentage that fails. Everyone out there knows of a person who has not done well with the surgery.
There are a lot of people who judge us because we had WLS.They love to tell you horror stories about people also. It is nice to know here there are people who have lost the weight and live normal lives who can help us.
And if there were no vets on the forum, to whom would people ask questions of?
No, we don't HAVE to - we WANT to. If suggestions are made to assist people in getting the best possible responses, what is the harm? Gosh, I could have added 10 things to her list of "pleases".

There is, or was, a group here that was strictly for newbies. Of course, no one had any practical experience or useful information...
I can't imagine why..........
