Hello everyone! Just curious if any of you noticed increased headaches after having WLS? I don't get them everyday, but it's often because I'm noticing. I have been pretty on top of my fluids and protein so not thinking dehydration, but???

Dehydration would be one suspect, also low blood sugar. Have you given up caffeine? Stopping abruptly can cause a headache.

You say you drink "more than what is expected." What's 'expected' doesn't matter nearly as much as what your individual body, in your individual cir****tances, actually NEEDS. The weather's hot---do you spend much time outdoors? How much do you work out? Do you sweat a lot? Do you pee often enough that your urine is pretty much clear?

I drink---and seem to need---over a gallon a day, or twice "what is expected", and I get headaches if I don't.

Could be hormone related also.

Our estrogen fluctuates significantly with rapid WEightloss.

I had migraine issues for a while while losing.

Hope you can take something to ease the pain.

Hmm all really great and helpful replies! Thank You! I quit caffeine before surgery so not thinking it's that. I haven't tested my sugar. I will do that though and blood pressure is in the normal range as no dizziness is occurring! Lol I will ask the dr about hormone levels too.
