Let's talk scales!
I love my Withings smart body analyzer. And it syncs with TrendWeight which is the best thing ever. It also syncs with RunKeeper which is the app I use to track my exercise.

They are an invention of Satan and to be avoided at all costs.
But seriously, I've tried several and they all are the same to me. Just make sure that whenever you weigh yourself, do it on the SAME SCALE (because others will, most likely, tell you a different number) and at relatively the same time. I weigh every Monday, before I go to the gym. And that's it, because I have had times when I got fanatical about the scale, weighing several times a DAY and I was making myself nuts.
I'm still pre-op (should be approved this week!! Fingers crossed) and I ordered an Aria scale. Made by Fitbit. So it'll sync with EVERYTHING! MyFitness Pal, Trendweight, etc. It should be here Tuesday. I had just a reg. digital one that would fluctuate in just the time it took to reset. Like I would get on and it would tell me one weight, then I would get off, let it go to zero and get on again ans it would be a different weight. The difference sometimes was as much as a pound and a half! You cannot tell me my weight changed THAT much in a minute. So I went ahead and ordered the Aria so I have a good scale throughout my entire process.
