Low Iron and Platelets. Having iron transfusion

You need to see another dr. That is insane

My blood doc feels that all gastric bypass patients, when iron gets low (and it will) need yearly infusion (some more). He says don't take daily iron pills, better to get the periodic infusion. I agree as I have done so much better over the last couple years doing this. Definitely don't miss side effects from iron pills.b
