Been reading in the news this week various articles in which Sharon Osbourne rants re:  her WLS from several years back (since reversed), saying she "felt like a cheat", "ashamed", etc.   GRRRR!       I wish she'd zip it!

Here's one of the articles, from US Magazine:   http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-body/news/sharon-osbourne-i-felt-like-such-a-cheat-after-weight-loss-surgery-2014306

Consider the source of the comments.  She has no authority and is just running her mouth.  I do wish she would find different topics.  Sigh.

Yawn. Yawn!

I hate this "cheating" idea.  I admit I sometimes feel a bit like that but only because I know others see it that way.  But I also cheat by taking meds for my high blood pressure. I cheat by putting meds on my face for rosacea. My husband cheated by having surgery on his knee.

Agree! I had babies via c-section so I cheated. In fact, I am not a real momma😳

LOL  although someone who had all her kids by C Section once  told me she felt she had "missed out".  Having had 3 kids "normally" and 1 by  C section, give me C section every time!!!!!!!! Giving birth is IMHO NOT a wonderful, life-enhancing, glorious experience! It hurts!!!!  And I really don't like things to hurt!

Sorry for the highjack...

I had to have 3 c-sections in order to have healthy babies while maintaining my health as well. All 3 were planned c-sections. I had WLS for my health and the health of my family. I cheated with medical technology and have no shame.

Ah yes, and I gave birth after an epidural, rather than endure another moment of unnecessary pain. I too, am a cheater. Idiots! lol

I haven't listened or read anything because I know it would just **** me off.  The company she is the spokesperson for really irritates the crap out of me.  They are COMPLETELY irresponsible!!!  Lose weight by eating candy, cookies, pasta, milkshakes.  Makes me want to throw up.

Blessings, Jill

WLS 5/31/07.  Maintaining a weight loss of 141 pounds and feeling amazing!
