Had surgery Monday and started full liquids. Premier shakes give me gas/diar. Any suggestions?

It could be a lactose issue. Try mixing it with water. Whey is still a dairy product, so it might help. There are also soy based proteins, but I've never used any.

I have trouble with milk too. Have you tried CVS brand protein shakes? I mix them with coconut milk and crushed ice and don't get sick at all. Check coconut milk brands, they're all different as far as sugar goes. Also, I use Three Diamonds brand almond milk. The vanilla tastes better but has some sugar. Best of luck.
